Spanish Garlic Shrimp

I like watching TV about food. Recently I was watching a Japanese TV Wakako Zake. It’s about a girl named Wakako, who is 26 years old loves going out to eat and drink alone. In one episode, Wakako went to a Spanish restaurant and tried this garlic shrimp dish. I was really attracted by that dish and wanted to try to cook it at home. It’s a simple dish. All you need are shrimps ( clean and shell removed, only tail shell kept), chopped red chili, roughly chopped garlic, salt, black pepper, bay leaf, olive oil 1/2 cup, chopped parsley and baguette.

1. Heat 1/2 cup olive oil on stove.

2. When the oil is very heated, add in chopped red chili. Stir fry for 2-3 mins.

3. Add chopped garlic and a little bay leaf in to the pan. Stir fry till aromatic.

4. Put the shrimp in. Fry each side till red.

5. Sprinkle a little salt and black pepper to season.

6. Garnish with parsley.

Serve with baguette.

Dip baguette in the olive oil and it’s really delicious.

You will never have enough baguette like I did.
