I didn’t know beef can be cooked in this way until in college. Both egg and beef taste tender. It’s a dish I and my friends must order when we ate together outside.
It’s also an easy and quick dish.
Beef ( cut into thin slices, marinate with a little salt, light soy sauce, cooking wine, oyster sauce, sesame oil and starch)
3 eggs ( beat in a bowl, add a little salt)
Spring onion ( chopped into small pieces)
1. Heat some oil in the pan. ( a little more oil than usual)
2. Put beef slices in the pan. Stir fry till they get slightly golden brown and almost done.
3. Put fried beef slices in egg and mix well.
4. Heat some oil in the pan. Pour egg and beef in the pan. Once the bottom turn solidify, stir fry. Sprinkle spring inion. Then take them all out in the palte.
This dish will take over one hour.
1. Cut beef into medium cubes.
2. Put beef cubes in the pan with cold water and turn on the stove.
3. When the water gets boiled, there will be a lot foam.
4. Take beef cubes out and clean them.
5. Heat the oil in the pan, put in ginger slices and some garlic slices.
6. Add in beef cubes. And stir fry for a while.
7. Then put in a little cooking wine and light soy sauce. Stir evenly.
8. Add in enough hot water over the beef. Then cover the pan with lid and cook for at least 40 mins.
9.Three tomatoes need to be peeled off. First cut a cross at the bottom. Then put them in hot water for around 1 minute. Lastly, remove them into cold water. And it will be easy to peel them off.
10. Chop them into small bits.
11. Use another pan. Heat the oil and put the tomato bits in.
12. When the tomato juice comes out, pour in a bowl of water.
13. Keep stirring till the tomato sauce becomes a little condensed.
14.When 40mins is over, add tomato sauce into the beef along with several sugar cubes and some salt.
15. Cook for another 30 mins.
If you don’t feel like eating anything, this dish will make your appetite better.
I always think beef and onion are a good match. And it’s easy to cook.
1. Cut beef into evenly thin slices. Chop onion and bell pepper into medium pieces.
2. Marinate beef with some salt, light soy sauce, cooking wine and starch. Make sure each slice is coated with starch.
3. Heat the oil in the pan. ( a little more oil than usual)
4. Put beef slices in the pan. Keep stir frying till the beef’s color turn light and a little burnt.
5. Add in the chopped onion and bell pepper. Stir fry till they get cooked.
6. Add 1 tsp oyster sauce. Stir fry a little.
7. If it’s a little plain, add in some salt.
This dish is very common in China’s restaurants. And it’s not that hard to cook at home.
