Creamy Banana Cheesecake


I found this amazing recipe:

I just made a small change according to original recipe:

Crust: 12 Oreo cookies, 30g margarine

Filling:

250g cream cheese

45g sugar

1 tsp cornstarch

2 eggs (medium size)

1 banana (cos I only had 1 banana at home, if you want banana flavor to be stronger, you can add 2 bananas)

40g whipping cream

1 tsp vanilla

1. Blend finely chopped cookies with melted margarine well.

2. Press cookie margarine mixture into pan and put into fridge.

3. Beat cream cheese till creamy.

4. Add in sugar and cornstarch.

5. Add in egg one at a time.

6. Add in mashed bananas, whipping cream and vanilla.

7. Pour cheese mixture onto crust.

8. Preheat oven to 180degree C. Bake for 15 mins. Then turn the heat down to 110 degree C and bake for 70 mins or till center gets firm.

Very rich and yummy. It tastes great!

Chocolate Oat Square

I changed it a bit.

Ingredients:

Butter 80g

Brown sugar 120g

Egg 1

Vanilla 1/4 tsp

Oats 1 cup

Flour 100 g

Salt 1/4 tsp

Baking soda 1/4 tsp

Filling:

1/3 can sweetened condensed milk, around 100g

Chocolate chips 1 cup

Butter 1 tsp

Salt 1/4 tsp

Chopped walnuts 1/3 cup

Vanilla 1/4 tsp
1. Cream brown butter and  brown sugar till light and fluffy.

2. Beat in egg and vanilla.

3. Combine oats, flour, salt, and baking soda. Stir into butter mixture.

4. Press 2/3 batter into pan as base.

Filling part:

1. In a saucepan, melt butter, chocolate, with sweetened milk and salt. Stir evenly.

2. Turn off the stove. Stir in walnuts and vanilla.

3. Spread filling over the Oat base in the baking pan.

4. Sprinkle the rest 1/3 Oat batter over the filling.

5. Preheat oven to 180 degree C and bake for 25mins.

Pear Tart

Crust: butter 50g

Salt 1 pinch

Sugar 50g

Yolk 1

Water 10ml

Flour 100g

1. Mix flour with salt and sugar well.

2. Cut in butter. Use finger to mix butter with flour.

3. Mix yolk with water. Then add the mixture into flour butter mixture.

4. Roll dough into thin batter. Put into fridge after warped with plastic for at least 1 hour.

Filling:

Butter 20g

Sugar 20g

Egg 25 g

Ground almond 20 g

Pear 1 (peeled, cited and cut into thin slices)

1. Cream butter with sugar till light and fluffy.

2. Add in egg. Mix well.

3. Add in almond ground. Mix well.

For tart:

1. Press batter into baking pan. Make small holes with folk.

2. Spread filling in.

3. Spread pear slices evenly on the surface. And sprinkle some extra almond ground.

Preheat oven to 180 degree C and bake for 40 mins.

Mini Sausage Rolls


In a small bowl, mix melted butter,  a little salt, black pepper and mixed herbs.

Use a fork to poke a few times on mini sausage. Cut puff pastry (or roti prata) into long and thin strips. Dip the sausage in butter first. Then roll it with pastry strips. Brush egg mixture on the pastry’s surface.

Preheat oven to 180 degree C. Bake for 25mins.

Easy Banana Pie


It’s super easy. All you need are one banana, one puff pastry (or you can use a roti prata pastry like I did), one egg.

1. Cut roti prata in two halves. 

2. Put banana slices on one half. And put the other half on the top. 

3. Use a folk to press the edge. Put banana pie back to fridge for 10 mins.

4. Preheat oven to 180 degree C. 

5. Brush egg on the pie’s surface. And bake for 25 mins.

 

When it’s almost done, the whole kitchen is full of good smell. 

My husband loves it and soon finished it.

Easy Chocolate Lava

   
Part A:

Butter around 25g

Chocolate 40g

Heat butter and chocolate in a bowl which is in hot water.

Keep stirring till they melt.

Remove them from hot water to get cool.
   

Part B

Whip an egg with around 15g sugar till the color becomes light.   
1. Pour Part B into Part A. Do make sure the chocolate is cool already.

2. Put around 15g flour into the mixture. Stir evenly. Then put the bowl into fridge for 30 minutes.

3. Preheat oven with 200 degree. Brush butter onto the inner wall of baking bowl.

4. Pour the chocolate mixture into baking bowl.

Put into oven for ten minutes.

When there are some small cracks on the surface of cake, the cake can be removed from the oven.


   

If you like, you can spread some icing sugar.

Try to scoop it with a small spoon.


And you will be surprised!
   

Banana Cake


Ingredients:

Butter 80g

Sugar 140g

Egg 1

Flour 140g

Milk 2 tsp

Baking Soda 1 tsp dissolved in milk

Baking powder 1 tsp

Bananas 2

Vanilla 1 tsp

Salt 1 pinch

Cinnamon powder 1 tsp

1. Cream butter and sugar till light and fluffy.

2. Add in egg, vanilla and baking soda that’s dissolved in milk. Stir well.

3. Add in bananas. Stir well.

4. Add in flour, salt and cinnamon. Mix them well and pour into baking pan.

5. Preheat oven to 180 degree C and bake for 30-40 mins.


The cake is very moist and full of fresh banana flavor. My husband is a big fan of it.

Cheese Swirl Brownie

Chocolate batter:

Chocolate 50g

Butter 50g

Sugar 50 g

Egg 1

Vanilla 1/2 tsp

Flour 50 g 

Cocoa powder 10 g

Salt 1 pinch

1. Melt butter with chocolate. Stir well and add in sugar. Stir.

2. When chocolate mixture cooled, add in egg and vanilla. Mix well.

3. Mix flour, cocoa powder and salt well. Then add into chocolate butter mixture. Mix them well.

4. Take out 1/4 chocolate batter. Pour the rest 3/4 in baking pan.

Cheese part:

Cream cheese 125g

Egg  half

Sugar 30g

Vanilla 1/2 tsp

1. In a large bowl, stir cream cheese till smooth. 

2. Beat in egg, sugar and vanilla.

3. Pour cheese part onto chocolate batter in the baking pan.

4. Use a spoon to scoop the reserved 1/4 chocolate batter onto the cheese part.

5. Draw pattern with a toothpick.

6. Preheat oven to 180 degree C. Bake for around 30 mins.

Roasted Pig Knuckle


Use knife to make one or two slices on the thick skin. Then prepare celery leaves, onion, and garlic. Chop them into small granules or pieces. Sprinkle some salt on knuckle. Then cover the knuckle with chopped vegetable mixture and wrap them tightly with a plastic outside. Put in the fridge overnight.

1. Take off the plastic wrap and wash off the vegetable mixture on the surface.

2. Steam knuckle for 50 mins.

3. Preheat oven to 220 degree C. Put steamed knuckle in oven and bake for 40 mins. You can move the knuckle to make the color evenly brown while baking.


After baking, the skin of knuckle becomes very crispy. The inside is very tender and juicy.

Blueberry Oat Squares

Here is the recipe I used to bake:

Ingredients:

1 cup oats

70g flour

120g brown sugar

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp baking soda

80g butter

Filling: blueberry 125 g, sugar 70g, 40ml lemon juice, 2 tsp cornstarch.

First, make filling:

Boil blueberries, sugar and lemon juice in a pot. Simmer till tender about 10 mins. Add in cornstarch, stir till thickened about 1 min. Remove from heat and cool.

Oat part:

In a large bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, salt, and baking soda. Cut in butter and form crumbs.

Spread 1/2 crumbs into pan as base. Then spread blueberry filling. The rest crumbs as top.

Preheat oven to 180 degree C. Bake for around 40mins until lightly golden.

Cut it into squares after cooled.
